2. What kind of equipment does Gulf Island's Marine Safari use for its
whale watching tour?
Gulf Island's Marine Tours is proud to offer
the fastest and latest in state of the
art technology in all of Western Canada.
Our fleet is proudly comprised of two
custom–made, rigid hull zodiac vessels,
powered by twin, Yamaha 225 horsepower
engines. Coast Guard inspected and fully
approved, our Titan Zodiac boats are
renowned for their durability and high
performance. Each of our zodiacs are
equipped with high-powered hydrophones,
allowing you to be able to listen to the
language of the Orca Whales.
We provide government approved Mustang
Cruiser Suits. Our brand-new suits come
in a variety of sizes, which are not
only intended to keep you warm while you
enjoy your adventure with us, but as
well as to keep you safe. Our boats are
each equipped with an onboard toilet for
your convenience and comfort.

What happens if I don’t see any whale on
the whale watching tour?
lf you choose a package or an individual
item for your trip that involves acts of
skill such as horseback riding or
rafting, for instance, or if you are
taking a journey for the express purpose
of watching wild creatures in their
natural habitat we offer no guarantees,
explicit or implied, as to performance
or satisfaction.
A waiver will need to be signed before
each departure.

What if the weather is bad or stormy?
lWe depart in the rain but our driver
will deicide whether the weather is
accepted for whale watching. If
the weather is too windy or rough
conditions then we will refund or
provide a gift certificate for a future
trip.
5. Can I store my belongings on
the boat?
We have lots of
storage under the seats on the boat for
you to store your belongings.
Do we have any age restriction on the
whale watch tour?
Children under 5
are NOT allowed to be on our whale
watching tour.
6. What should I bring to the whale watch tour?
We recommend passengers to bring the
following for your whale watching tour:
sunglasses, sunscreen, extra clothes,
binoculars and your camera!
We supply gloves and goggles for
the whale watching tour.
7. Do you provide free pickup for the
whale watch tour?
Yes,
Gulf Island's Marine Safari’s offers free
pickup service in the Gulf Island area.
8. Do you offer discounts for large groups?
We do offer discounted group rates for
parties of 15 or more. Please contact
