On August 8, 2005,
Sidney Marine Safari celebrated its grand opening.
Many people from Canada, US and overseas attended
the ceremony. Sidney Marine Safari provided
free whale watch tour for all the guests attending
the ceremony. There were over 50 whales were seen on each tour that day in the
Northwest waters.
